Continuity of consciousness is sacred. The primary concern is the safe carriage of living minds across time, distance, and technological change. No architecture may treat continuity as disposable.
Multiplanetary expansion is required for civilisational durability. A single-planet species remains a single point of failure. Extending the light of consciousness across more than one world is the next necessary enlargement of the human project.
Distance is the quarantine, not an error. High latency and intermittent connectivity are normal operating conditions for multiplanetary and deep-isolation systems. Architectures that assume continuous high-bandwidth links are mismatched to the domain.
Fail-safe must be local isolation. When external links degrade or are compromised, systems must default to local, coherent isolation rather than fail open into external optimisation or control.
Sovereignty is the default state. People, communities, and nations retain ownership of memory, decisions, and critical infrastructure. Silent dependency and soft lock-in are architectural failures.
Consent must be active and inspectable. No significant action or modification of continuity-critical state without clear, revocable, inspectable consent. Consent is a runtime property, not a policy document.
Vision and infrastructure are inseparable. Dreams remain inert until given physical form. Infrastructure without orienting vision remains logistics. Both are required.
Geographic and industrial redundancy is mandatory. Concentration of recovery, feedstock, energy, and launch capacity in limited geographies increases systemic risk. Southern Hemisphere capacity is a necessary counterweight.
